Position Overview:

The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective presentation and organization of pantry items in our Yay Cafes. The Merchandising specialist will collaborate with the Merchandising and Operations department to implement strategies to drive GMV and enhance the customer experience. The Merchandising Specialist will assist at several schools in the market. You will be working in various locations across the Atlanta metro area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate personal vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Pick up goods from the warehouse or vendor and follow the hotsheet (route) for delivery.
  • Deliver school lunches or products in a timely manner.
  • Use Google Maps or maps to navigate unfamiliar routes and avoid delays.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, including greeting customers and answering any questions they may have.
  • Handle deliveries with care and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of the goods.
  • Report any delivery issues or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

        Qualifications:

        • Assist operations team with auditing and upkeep of TYC planograms.
        • Training Lunch coordinators on placement, upkeep of pantry items, following FIFO, and other merchandising standards.
        • Arrange merchandise on shelves, racks, and displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal promotions.
        • Ensure that product displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and easy for customers to navigate.
        • Collaborate with operations and merchandising teams to monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
        • Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and verifying product quantities.
        • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels.
        • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising for promotional support.
        • Collaborate with the merchandising team and other merchandising specialists to implement new and exciting pantry items through engagement and feedback with lunchers.

            Compensation:

            • $19 per hour
            • Data stipend
            • Mileage reimbursement
