Job Overview
As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our talent acquisition process. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions, proactively source candidates from various channels, and conduct structured, competency-based interviews to evaluate candidates effectively. Your ability to maintain high standards throughout the hiring process and deliver an exceptional candidate experience will contribute significantly to building our talent pool and ensuring the right talent is placed in the right roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Description Development & Collaboration:
Partner with hiring managers to craft comprehensive job descriptions that align with role requirements and company needs.
Ensure clarity and accuracy in all job postings, reflecting the competencies and skills required for each position.
- Candidate Sourcing & Networking:
Develop and nurture a network of suitable candidates through various channels such as job portals, social networking sites, educational institutes, and professional referrals.
Craft and send engaging recruiting emails to attract passive candidates to our talent pipeline.
Research and identify new sources and platforms to find active and passive candidates.
- Candidate Screening & Evaluation:
Screen resumes and short-list candidates based on their qualifications and potential fit for the role.
Conduct competency-based interviews using structured interview guides and rubrics to objectively evaluate candidates on subject expertise, classroom management skills, cultural fit, and soft skills.
Prepare and assign interview tests or assessments as required, ensuring they align with the competencies needed for the role.
Gather and verify candidates' qualifications, licenses, and certifications to ensure they meet the requirements for the position.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with candidates and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in screening resumes, assessing qualifications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Organizational Skills: Efficient in managing multiple interviews, tasks, and candidate information simultaneously.
- Interpersonal & Empathy Skills: Build rapport with candidates and colleagues; demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to think on your feet during interviews, handle challenging scenarios, and adapt to varying recruitment needs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, PPT and Excel. Experience using CRM/ATS systems, job boards, social media platforms, and video conferencing tools is an added advantage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome. Prior experience in HR, recruitment, or education is an added advantage.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using CRM systems, ATS software, and various social media/job portals for sourcing.

- This is a Work from Office role
- Integrity, professionalism, team collaboration, and full dedication/availability during the assigned working hours are paramount
- Dedicated and separate high-speed Internet with at least 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds (no wireless or mobile-phone internet)
- Secure home office, free from background noise or other distractions
