🟢 The Opportunity
As Springboard’s Senior Systems Administrator, you’ll maintain Springboard's IT infrastructure, and provide general help desk support including A/V and IT asset management. This role will include managing complex troubleshooting, project co-leadership of technology system evaluation, recommendation and implementation, and overall, building an IT ecosystem that will enable Springboard’s success as we strive to meet our ambitious mission of transforming one million lives by 2030.
Salary range: $134,000 - $151,000 USD annually for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
🟢 Responsibilities
- Provide service-oriented support for Springboard staff and contractors, including all hardware and software issues. Support the office network, zoom rooms, desk setups, etc.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs
- Provision, configure, manage, and support IT infrastructure (OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM for MacOS and Windows, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Zoom, etc.)
- Research and recommend innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for tasks. This includes reviewing bids, cost analysis, and vendor relationships.
- Manage procurement, deployment, management, and decommission of company assets
- Configure and deploy security and productivity solutions such as anti-malware, VOIP, Microsoft Office
- Create clear knowledge base articles for the end-user and the IT team
- Develop, maintain, and support IT and Security policies and procedures
🟢 You
- 4+ years as an IT systems administrator, network administrator, or similar role in a Tech/Startup environment
- Proficient knowledge of systems architecture with the ability to both independently administer core IT systems and partner with teams on administration of specific systems (e.g., Hubspot)
- Excellent troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong research and documentation skills with the ability to create specific step-by-step workflows
- High sense of urgency: you’re an independent operator driven by the desire to get things done
- A customer service and user-focused mindset
- Open to a hybrid work structure - estimated 2-4 days a month in our San Francisco office on mutually agreed days
