We are looking to add one or more Medical School (MD or DO) Education Faculty Consultants to our team of health science educators. We aspire to identify and meet the needs of medical school faculty and medical students and seek to become a trusted pillar for clinical learning in medical education. Ideal candidates for this role are current medical school faculty or individuals otherwise intimately familiar with the educational needs and current landscape of medical education

This is a contract position. We expect the overall time commitment to be approximately 1-5 hours per week, with opportunities for expansion of time & responsibilities in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Provide authoritative accounts of the needs for medical school faculty and students as it pertains to developing clinical knowledge and skills.
• Engage with prototypes of new products and experiences live and asynchronously and provide detailed feedback.
• Provide insights and analysis of the medical school case based learning and clinical reasoning and skills educational materials landscape, through a combination of prior knowledge and supportive research
• Regular check-in and alignment meetings with management

What we're Looking For:

• Current or recent experience educating in a medical school (MD or DO)
• A big-picture view of the market and wider context of medical education especially simulation and case-based learning
• Familiarity and expertise with subject-matter in the medical education curriculum
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Reliability and responsiveness to requests for input and review
• Reasonable availability for real-time calls or Zoom meetings as needed (though we can be flexible to your schedule)

Salary Range:

$75.00 - $100 per hour
