About Rosie

Rosie is reimagining care, for families & for caregivers.
We created a new category of care: flexible, on-demand childcare and household management, bookable by the hour or in a weekly cadence, backed by a bench of vetted Pros who learn your family’s rhythms. Families finally have a way to get the help they actually need with minimal effort.
We're building the infrastructure that powers modern family life: a world where parents book care the way they text a friend, where caregivers build real careers doing work they're proud of, and where having support at home just feels normal. We're expanding to new cities, and we're just getting started.

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to own how Rosie shows up to our community online and in person. You'll lead two things: 1) organic social media content creation and management across Meta & Tiktok, and 2) event strategy and execution, from intimate member meetups to bigger brand moments. You'll get to translate Rosie's voice and member experience into a feed parents & potential Pros actually stop for, and into real-world experiences that bring the magic of Rosie to life.
This is the opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to get in the weeds & grow into a marketing swiss-army knife. You'll get to write the captions, cut the videos, catch the trend while it's still a trend, and stay close to our followers. You'll also plan and run events end to end: the concept, the logistics, the guest list, the day-of & the follow-up. You'll work directly with our founders & Head of Marketing to keep everything on brand while you move fast.
Rosie's brand is warm, real, and a little bit cool. We coach without lecturing, we talk to grownups like grownups, and we never sound like a corporate care brand. You'll live inside that voice every day, online and in person, and get full creative agency on how it’s communicated.

Who You Are

Native to social: You think in short-form video and scroll-stopping hooks. You know why one post works and the next one flops.
A maker: You can shoot, edit, caption, and publish without a production team behind you. You turn a rough idea into a finished post the same day.
On voice, fast: You pick up a brand's voice quickly and keep it consistent across every platform, even at volume.
Trend-fluent: You know what's happening on TikTok and Instagram this week, and you have taste about which trends fit Rosie and which don't.
Community-minded: You like bringing people together, online and in real life. You reply to comments, spot the fans, and turn them into a community that shows up.
An event planner: You can take an event from idea to invite list to day-of run of show, and make people feel something when they're in the room. You love experimenting with decor, themes, and event structure to make the most memorable moments.
Self-directed: You run your own process and don’t wait for direction or approval. You can take a loose brief and come back with a plan, or lead with ideas & experiments yourself.
Tech-forward: You know what to spend your time on, what tools to use, and how to produce a lot with a little.

What You'll Do

Own the content calendar: Plan, produce, and publish across Instagram and Tiktok. Keep a steady, high-quality cadence.
Make the content: Write captions, film and edit short-form video, and design simple graphics that fit the brand.
Grow the community: Manage comments and DMs, engage with parents and Pros, and build real relationships in the replies.
Own event strategy: Build a calendar of member meetups, Pro gatherings, and brand moments that bring Rosie to life offline and feed the content engine.
Run events end to end: Handle concept, venue, logistics, partners, guests, and day-of execution, then capture it all for social.
Ride the moment: Jump on trends, cultural moments, and Rosie milestones while they're still fresh.
Stay on voice: Work with the Head of Marketing to keep every post sounding like Rosie, and create processes & tools that allow us to scale our voice.
Data tracking: Watch the numbers across social and events, learn from them, and double down on the formats and moments that land.

Why Join Now

Ownership: You'll shape how thousands of families and caregivers first meet Rosie.
Creative range: The freedom to try things, online and in real life, and see what sticks.
Momentum: A founding team that moves fast and ships, so your work goes live instead of sitting in review.
Mission: The families and Pros you're posting for are navigating one of the hardest parts of modern life. The work matters.

Compensation

Monthly retainer setup depending on scope and hours. We'll agree on rate and time commitment up front. This role has the opportunity to move into a full-time salary with generous founding team equity.
To apply, email hi@rosiematch.com with links to 2–3 accounts or posts you've made (and any events you've run, if you have them), and a few sentences on why Rosie's the kind of brand you'd want to build online and in person.
