About the role:

The Workspace UX team is focused on building the best integrated experience for deploying and iterating on your apps. Earlier this year, we launched Replit Deployments, which lets teams launch full-stack production apps from the same editor they code in.

To continue empowering our builders, we want to make it even easier to import existing projects, deploy multiple apps, configure runtimes and dependencies, manage secrets and storage, and more.

This involves closely collaborating with our Infra and DevEx teams to leverage the power of our flexible Nix infrastructure and 3rd party integrations into familiar workflows, and performant and intuitive interfaces.

Here are some example projects you could work on:

• Create a framework for system UI nudges that help users understand and control the “magic” behind our zero-setup environments.

• Augment the workspace layout to make develop to deploy workflow actions more streamlined.

• Build the UX that enables users to add, manage and preview their storage across different environments.

• Add features that let users view, filter and search their deployment logs and analytics, including on the go.

You will…:

• Identify what our builders need to scale their production apps, and then make it happen.

• Conceive, design and develop workflows and UIs that support our users from running their first programs to deploying and scaling their apps.

• Empower builders to ship fast, with AI or other smart shortcuts.

• Continuously improve the user experience for project configuration, logs, analytics, and more.
  

Required skills and experience:

• You like to work full-stack, from building React components to developing APIs to integrating with 3rd party cloud services.

• You enjoy architecting extensible layout and workflow systems.

• You have deep expertise in React and the DOM, and how to optimize it for maximum rendering performance.

• Experienced with Typescript, or similar strongly typed languages.

• Obsessed with little big details and enjoy working with designers to make the UI super polished.

The overall market range of base compensation for roles in this area of Replit is typically $160,000 - $200,000. Compensation offered will be determined by additional factors such as location and experience.

This role has an in-office requirement on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
