What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate Closely with Leadership: Partner with SDR and Growth leadership to define and prioritize strategic goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and the unique needs of our account-based prospecting approach.
- Develop and Implement Playbooks: Create and refine comprehensive playbooks that outline best practices, effective strategies, and step-by-step processes for account-based prospecting, multi-threading, and leveraging ICP/Buyer persona information.
- Design Continuous Training Programs: Develop and deliver ongoing training programs tailored to the SDR team’s needs, focusing on improving qualification quality, discipline, and overall sales skills. Ensure training materials are current and reflective of industry best practices.
- Enhance SDR Onboarding and Ramp-Up: Design and oversee a comprehensive onboarding process for new SDRs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills from day one. Monitor the ramp-up period to ensure new team members reach full productivity quickly and effectively.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies and training programs. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments and improvements.
- Provide Coaching and Support: Offer hands-on coaching and support to SDRs, helping them to refine their techniques, overcome challenges, and achieve their targets. Provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews.
- Leverage Technology and Tools: Utilize CRM and other sales enablement tools to track progress, manage data, and streamline processes. Ensure the team is fully trained and proficient in using these tools effectively.
- Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement within the SDR team by regularly reviewing and updating strategies, celebrating successes, and learning from failures.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in sales enablement, account-based marketing, and SDR best practices. Integrate relevant insights into training programs and strategic initiatives.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in Sales Enablement/Training: Proven experience in a sales enablement, sales training, or similar role, ideally with a focus on SDR teams and account-based prospecting.
- Strong Understanding of SDR Processes: Deep knowledge of SDR best practices, including multi-threading, qualification quality, and leveraging ICP/Buyer persona information.
- Track Record of Driving Results: Demonstrated success in improving SDR performance through training programs, playbooks, and strategic initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize team performance.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Coaching and Mentoring Abilities: Proven ability to coach and mentor SDRs, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
