At Preply Business we are looking for a Sales Training Manager that will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the pre-sales and sales teams in achieving their targets. This includes creating and managing sales training programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating sales collateral and tools, analyzing sales data, conducting training and coaching sessions, and managing technology and tools. Ultimately, this role plays a critical part in ensuring that the pre-sales and sales team have the resources, tools, and information they need to sell effectively and drive revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and implement sales enablement programs: identifying with team leads and managers the areas which need support and creating blended programs that provide training, coaching, and resources to help them improve.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure that sales reps have access to the information and resources they need to sell effectively (i.e. NPM, ICP, MEDDICC, etc.)
  • Develop sales collateral and tools: sales decks, presentations, and other materials that sales reps can use to communicate with prospects and customers.
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions: lead training sessions coaching sessions with sales reps to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze sales data: use data analytics to identify trends and patterns in sales performance, and use them for improving sales enablement.
  • Manage and coach Sales Trainers to guarantee excellent facilitation and governance over the pre-sales and sales onboarding programs.
  • Manage technology and tools: ensure that sales reps have access to and know how to use the right technology and tools to do their jobs effectively.

What you need to succeed:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required for this position. Some employers may prefer a master's degree in business administration (MBA).
  • Sales experience: Previous experience in sales (Account Executive or Account Manager) or sales management. A strong understanding of the sales process and experience working with sales teams.
  • Sales enablement experience: Experience in sales enablement. This includes developing and implementing sales enablement/training programs, designing training materials (e-learning, videos, presentations, etc.), creating sales collateral and tools, and analyzing sales data.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as Sales Enablement Managers are responsible for communicating with sales reps, cross-functional teams, and senior executives.
  • Analytical skills: Sales Enablement Managers should have strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and identify trends and patterns that can inform sales enablement strategies.
  • Project management skills: The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is important for this role, as Sales Enablement Managers are responsible for developing and implementing sales enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Technology skills: Familiarity with sales automation software, CRM systems, and other sales tools is important for this role, as Sales Enablement Managers are responsible for managing technology and tools used by the sales team.

The overall market range for roles in this area of Preply in NYC is typically USD 145,000 - 200,000. This market range does not include stock options which are granted to all Preplers. We behave like co-owners and we're rewarded as co-owners.
