Estimated Start Date: December 1, 2025

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week. You will have 2 consecutive days off.

Working hours: 8 hours daily: 12pm PST to 8pm PST (With a 10 minutes break at 4PM in and a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break in CA.)

Admissions Advisor Job Overview: We have a seasonal 7 month opportunity on our growing inside sales team and are seeking an Admissions Advisor to conduct sales and admissions calls with prospective students. In this pivotal role you will communicate the value of our programs, help students navigate options, and guide them through the admission process via email and calls.

About the Role:

As an Admissions Advisor, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by selling our services to prospective clients. This position is commission-based, contingent on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Process Utilization: Effectively use the company's sales process and conversation flow to engage with potential clients and drive sales.

  • Product Knowledge:Become knowledgeable about the company's services and products, and communicate their benefits and features effectively to clients.

  • Client Management: Manage and update a list of prospective clients within the company's CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate records.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal staff, including marketing, mentor support, and product development teams, to understand their roles and how they contribute to the overall sales process.

  • KPI Understanding: Develop a thorough understanding of the KPIs related to your role, including sales targets, conversion rates, and client retention metrics. Strive to meet and exceed these targets monthly.

  • Customer Interaction in an Advisory Role: Conduct outreach to potential clients through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.Guide students and parents throughout the admissions process, assist them determining which programs align with their goals and financial possibilities.

  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, providing insights and feedback on client interactions and sales strategies.

  • Client Needs Assessment: Identify client needs and tailor sales pitches to address their specific requirements and pain points.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to close deals effectively and maximize sales revenue.

Requirements:

  • Proven 5+ years’ experience in sales, preferably in a commission-based role.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and parents.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.

  • Work effectively in a service environment, create a welcoming environment for all students and parents.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software (HubSpot a plus) and other sales tools.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely from a home office.

Nice to have:

  • Member of IECA preferred (Independent Educational Consultants Association.

  • 2+ years of experience as an admissions officer at a top university.

  • 3+ years’ experience of college counseling experience for high school students, including but not limited to experience as an independent counselor, college counseling professional in a business setting, US high school college counselor, professional experience working with high school students and their parents.

Compensation:

  • OTE: $75,000.00 per year

    • $45,000.00 base pay and $30,000.00 bonus based on performance
