About PeopleGrove Student Projects: PeopleGrove Student Projects connects companies with university classes for 4-12 week real-world "experiential learning" projects. Instead of traditional fictional projects, students work on real projects for PeopleGrove client companies, gaining practical experience while providing valuable solutions to businesses.
Position Overview: We are looking for a talented team member to join the PeopleGrove Student Projects sales team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for bringing in new clients through the entire sales cycle. In this position you play a crucial role in connecting companies with university classes with real-world projects that benefit both students and businesses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Discovery Calls:
  • Identifying sales prospects
  • Schedule 15-30 minute Discovery "Project Idea" calls with companies.
  • Conduct Discovery calls, including a 3-5 minute demonstration and Q&A session.
  • Client Follow-Up:
  • Assist companies in formulating a "2-3 sentence project idea" during these calls.
  • Share SOC Marketplace Resources/Templates to aid in project idea development.
  • Follow up with companies post-call, driving deals to close
  • Sales Support:
  • Identify and qualify potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track and report on key sales metrics and performance indicators.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales team and management on progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Experience working with HR professionals, recruiters, or hiring managers is preferred
