About Marker Learning:

Marker Learning is on a mission to help schools and parents access more affordable and accessible learning disability (e.g., dyslexia) assessments. 1 in 5 students has a learning disability such as dyslexia, which makes it harder for them to read, spell, and write--despite their intelligence. While receiving a proper evaluation for a learning disability could be the most impactful event in a student’s life, it is estimated that only 4% of students receive a diagnosis because of the high costs of evaluations and lack of access to qualified psychologists. Undiagnosed students are 3x more likely to drop out of high school, 5x more likely to be unemployed, and tend to experience elevated levels of anxiety and depression.

By leveraging proprietary technology developed by leading experts, the end-to-end Marker evaluation is completed in a fraction of the time compared to traditional assessment methods. Marker is a rapidly growing start-up backed by some of the most mission-driven and reputable venture capital firms and education non-profits.

Join us in our mission to inspire and support all students on their unique learning paths!

The Role:
As Marker’s Clinical Proctor Advisor, you’ll be a pivotal member of our clinical quality team, supporting and providing expertise in proctoring remote psychoeducational evaluations across the United States. • Supervise Proctors on clinical performance during evaluations and administration responsibilities.
  • Help determine the correct scorecard to evaluate the clinical performance of proctors consistently.
  • Train Proctors on processes and procedures for proctoring virtual cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments, providing behavioral scales to teachers and families, and additional administrative responsibilities.
  • Partner with the Training & Onboarding teams to create scalable training documentation when possible (ex., Onboarding materials that do not require 1:1 training by a clinical expert).
  • Manage and oversee rating scale distribution across all districts.
  • Identify student behavior concerns and support appropriate processes for Proctors.
  • Identify ways Marker Learning can provide high-quality proctoring and administrative support to improve student and school district experience.

Qualities of the ideal candidate:

  • 2-3 years of proctoring experience in schools and supporting psychoeducational evaluations.
  • Experience in developing, training, and leading the proctoring and administration process (i.e., WISC, WIAT, rating scales).
  • Experience with sending rating scales to teachers and families.
  • Motivated by Marker Learning’s mission to provide affordable and accessible special education support to all students who need it.
  • Strong writing skills with a passion for ensuring high clinical standards.
  • Highly organized, with an innate ability to juggle many things at once.
