CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology Oncology Physician to join their established practice at the CHRISTUS South New Mexico Cancer Center Associates in Alamogordo, NM. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology services in a patient-centered environment. The role involves managing a diverse patient load, with a focus on quality care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Practice Info

• Located on the main hospital campus in Alamogordo
• Provides comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology services
• Clinic includes 10 treatment beds and two private chemotherapy rooms
• Access to advanced technology such as a new linear accelerator, 64-slice CT, and 1.5T MRI
• Multidisciplinary team includes oncology-certified nurses, a clinical nurse specialist, and a nurse navigator
• Practice is 70% oncology and 30% hematology, with all chemotherapy delivered outpatient

Responsibilities

• See 14–16 patients per day
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
• Follow NCCN guidelines

Compensation

• Base plus model
• $700k+ earning potential
• Sign on Bonus up to $100,000

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time Position

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the ABIM
• Hematology Oncology fellowship trained
• Possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico
• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
