Ascension is seeking a Physician Assistant for an Inpatient Orthopedics role at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services under physician supervision. Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions
• Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources
• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care
• Orthopedic coverage will include inpatient rounding, consults, ED procedures, operating room assisting

Compensation

• Salary: $110,000-$136,000 per year

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Master's degree preferred
• 1 year of experience preferred
