Responsibilities

  • Perform pediatric hospital encounters, including consultations, H&Ps, follow-ups, diagnostic fluoroscopy, and image-guided procedures
  • Handle limited outpatient duties at the bi-weekly vascular anomalies clinic
  • Conduct hospital-based consultations, procedures, and follow-ups
  • Manage limited outpatient pre- and post-procedure clinic

Compensation

  • Salary range for this position is $135,000-$145,000
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

  • Additional compensation available through productivity incentive program and call opportunities
  • Income may be supplemented via moonlighting opportunities at adult and pediatric sites

Requirements

  • Prior experience in pediatric fluoroscopy or image-guided procedures is strongly preferred
  • Successful completion of an educational program for physician assistants or surgeon assistants accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or by that committee's predecessor or successor entities
  • Passage of PANCE within 6 attempts
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Passage of the jurisprudence (JP) exam
  • Practiced at least 20 hours a week for 40 weeks in one of the two years preceding application
