Allina Health is seeking a casual Certified Nurse Midwife to join their dynamic hospital-based team. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in labor and delivery settings, collaborating with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff at the Abbott and United Mother Baby Centers. • Casual coverage at United and Abbott Mother Baby Centers
• Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups

Responsibilities

• Independently provide labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services
• Attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics
• Provide "Natural birth experience" highlighting nontraditional care in the hospital
• Follow standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute

Compensation

• Flat Rate: $72 per hour
• Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required
• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 Days
• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required
