Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager focused on managing and expanding relationships with telecom operators across Germany and Europe. The ideal candidate has a strong network within Deutsche Telekom (mandatory), as well as Vodafone Germany and Telefónica Germany, and is highly familiar with the telco transformation landscape including 4G, 5G, and Telco Cloud automation.

You will be responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with key telco accounts, identifying new opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Ownership: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned telco customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Growth Focus: Drive account expansion and upselling within existing customers by understanding evolving needs and aligning with LabLabee’s solutions.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany, Telefónica Germany, and other European operators.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure customer objectives are met.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends in 5G, OpenRAN, and Telco Cloud to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Event Representation: Represent LabLabee at industry events and forums (e.g., GSMA, TM Forum, ETSI) relevant to the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in account management, business development, or sales in the telecom sector with a focus on network/cloud transformation.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the German telco market and direct experience with Deutsche Telekom (mandatory), Vodafone Germany, and Telefónica Germany.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English (mandatory); French is a plus.
  • Technical Understanding: Knowledge of 5G, Telco Cloud, NFV, and OpenRAN technologies.
  • Relationship Skills: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Tools: Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
