KHAN ACADEMY BRAZIL

Khan Academy Brazil aims to deliver a world class user experience to learners that is locally relevant with content, programs, and resources for teachers, schools, and districts. Our platform is a supplemental educational digital resource that offers interactive activities based on mastery-based learning for K-12 grades covering Math, Portuguese, and Science, all aligned to BNCC. We serve more than 6 million learners across our websites, apps and youtube channels and our goal is to scale the impact of our platform by focusing on partnerships with public districts in Brazil.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Khan Academy Brazil is seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to fill the role of Brazil Partner Operations Manager. The Brazil Partner Operation Manager will support our licensed district partners in setting up and syncing their nightly rosters so that teachers, students, and administrators can easily access their rostered Khan Academy accounts.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Meet with school partners during the initial onboarding call to gather relevant rostering information and provide an overview of the rostering process.
  • Document relevant rostering details for each school partner.
  • Manage the technical setup of assigned student rosters, paying close attention to accuracy.
  • Closely monitor new partner account activation and provide support for any issues that arise.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding school partner onboarding and activation status.
  • Support internal team members with technical issues reported by their district partners.
  • Monitor the daily roster sync and contact school partners to confirm large roster changes.

ABOUT YOU

  • An appreciation for learning how technology works at a deep level
  • An ability to identify when something is working as intended or if an issue needs to be addressed.
  • An enjoyment for building, documenting, and improving internal processes so things run smoothly and all stakeholders are informed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A flexible and people-first attitude
  • Excellent prioritization skills and follow-through.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude to anticipate and resolve challenges effectively
  • Knowledge of K-12 student information systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with Clever or Layers rostering systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and modern project management and productivity platforms, as well as strong capabilities in managing schedules and logistical planning
  • Residency or willingness and ability to relocate to São Paulo, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role. Work permission in Brasil.
  • Portuguese and English proficiency
