About the Role
You will play a foundational role in the development and success of a fast-growing start-up by showcasing how Kaymbu can improve schools’ family engagement and assessment practices. As a primary advocate for the Kaymbu software platform, you will regularly engage in conversations with early childhood educators who are evaluating documentation tools, helping them at every step in the sales pipeline. Your eagerness to roll up your sleeves and talk with educators will directly impact company growth. We are looking for someone who is a curious and creative mind, paired with exceptional communication skills -- both in writing and speaking.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in sales prospecting, business development and/or marketing, ideally in SaaS, with a track record of exceeding goals
  • Skilled at strategic prospecting and using research to identify and engage stakeholders
  • Strong communicator with the ability to deliver concise, compelling messages and steer conversations by pivoting, problem-solving, and handling objections
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively, with a drive for continuous improvement

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in education technology and/or education (ideally early childhood education)
  • Proficiency or expertise in using Mailchimp, PipeDrive, GoToConnect
  • A genuine passion for supporting educators, students and families

Responsibilities

  • Execute 50+ daily prospecting activities, including lead follow-up, cold calls, and personalized email outreach
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to strategically identify and develop outreach plans to target accounts
  • Build relationships with early childhood education leaders through warm, tailored outreach and initial discovery calls
  • Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings with decision-makers, paving the way for sales reps to close deals
  • Support marketing campaigns by drafting prospect emails, creating and executing on call scripts, and personalizing follow-up outreach
  • Assist with list building, segmentation, and lead generating initiatives to drive pipeline growth
  • Contribute to social media strategy by helping plan content that engages early childhood education leaders, builds awareness of Kaymbu’s mission, and supports lead generation
