Compensation

  • Hourly rate $110.00 – $140.00 per hour

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Program Overview
Handshake is recruiting exceptional medical experts who have completed a degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Biomedical Sciences (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, MSc/PhD in Clinical or Biomedical Sciences) to join our AI research community.

Medicine should be part of your everyday work - whether you’re a practicing physician, nurse, physician assistant, pharmacist, clinical researcher, or medical educator. This program brings subject-matter experts together to enhance the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) within specialized medical domains and subdomains.

Program Details

  • Pay is $110/hr+, will provide extra incentive bonuses for project milestones

  • Detailed, paid training to prepare you for success on this project

  • Remote and asynchronous – work independently from wherever you are

  • Flexible hours with 15+ hours per week commitment

  • Project work includes creating domain-specific prompts, rubrics and evaluating LLM responses in areas such as:

    • Clinical decision support and diagnostic reasoning

    • Pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment planning

    • Surgical procedures and risk assessment

    • Psychiatric therapy and patient care

  • Dedicate time researching topics of interest with AI as your collaborator

  • Learn new skills while contributing to AI’s role in the future of medicine
