As our Growth Lead, Europe, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative growth strategies to increase our market share in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to take on the challenges of scaling an already successful brand in its next markets.

Your role

As our Growth Lead, Europe, you’ll plan and deliver a roadmap to:

  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Growth Strategy: Create and implement strategies for market positioning, user acquisition, retention, and brand promotion.

  • Analyze Market Trends and User Data: Continually optimize growth strategies and marketing activities based on data analysis and market insights.

  • Enhance Brand Awareness and User Engagement: Organize online events, community activities, and interaction campaigns to boost brand visibility and engagement.

  • Execute Effective Marketing Campaigns: Use various channels and strategies to attract new users and keep existing users active.

  • Experiment with Creative Solutions: Suggest and test innovative, out-of-the-box ideas to drive growth in the region.

You’ll own:

  • European Content Creation and Performance Marketing: Lead and manage all content creation, performance marketing, and partnership activities in Europe.

  • Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic partnerships to enhance market reach and effectiveness of growth initiatives.

  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute online and offline events that drive user engagement and brand awareness.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget and optimize spending across all channels to ensure a healthy P&L and optimized CAC.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, technology, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development.

Your experience

  • Growth Marketing: At least 4-6 years of experience in growth marketing or growth hacking with a proven track record of implementing successful growth strategies.

  • Successful Campaigns: Evidence of leading successful marketing campaigns that resulted in significant user acquisition, engagement, and brand growth.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Content Creation: Proven ability to create high-quality, compelling promotional content for various channels.

  • Performance Marketing: Familiarity with various performance marketing channels and tools.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with product, technology, and design teams.

  • Leadership Experience: Experience in leading and managing a team of marketing professionals to achieve key performance metrics.

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

  • 🏦 401k Match: Handshake offers a dollar-for-dollar match on 1% of deferred salary, up to a maximum of $1,200 per year.
