About inquirED

inquirED is redefining what high-quality, knowledge-building instruction looks like in K–5. As we launch our integrated Core ELA & Social Studies program, we are bringing to market a product grounded in the science of reading, knowledge-building, and authentic inquiry—designed to actually work in real classrooms, not just on paper.

Inkwell, our integrated core ELA and social studies elementary curriculum, brings ELA and social studies together into one coherent instructional block that builds deeper knowledge, comprehension, and literacy skills.

About the role

Description

We are hiring a Curricular Solutions Architect to sit on our sales team and serve as the instructional and product authority for our integrated ELA and social studies curriculum. We’re entering a pivotal growth phase and are looking for a rare hybrid leader who can translate pedagogical expertise into compelling sales stories and support early adopters through successful implementation.

This role is for someone who deeply understands elementary ELA, social studies, science of reading, and knowledge-building curriculum design, and knows how to confidently bring that expertise into sales conversations, demos, pilots, and early implementations.

You will be the person districts trust when they ask:

“Will this actually work for our teachers and students?”

You will directly influence revenue, shape early customer success, and help define the future of knowledge-building instruction at scale.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Go-To-Market

  • Partner closely with Sales to support district conversations, discovery calls, demos, and adoptions.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert in ELA, social studies, and integrated, knowledge-building curriculum during sales cycles.
  • Translate complex instructional design and deep pedagogical expertise (science of reading, background knowledge, coherence, inquiry) into clear, compelling, district-ready narratives tailored to the district’s unique context.
  • Lead high-impact product demos that connect instructional integrity to real classroom practice.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to craft and refine sales enablement materials, messaging, and proof points.

Early Adopter Implementation & Success

  • Support onboarding and implementation for early adopter districts, ensuring strong early wins
  • Partner closely with Partner Experience and Curriculum teams to align implementation with district goals.
  • Serve as a feedback loop from the field—bringing real-world insights back into product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Help districts plan rollout strategies that are realistic, sustainable, and instructionally sound.

Who You Are

You are someone who:

  • Can speak fluently to curriculum directors, superintendents, sales reps, and classroom teachers—and be credible with all of them.
  • Loves the intersection of curriculum, instruction, product, and growth.
  • Is energized by ambiguity and building something new.
  • Is equally comfortable leading a demo, whiteboarding to explain complex ideas and map out solutions, or helping a district plan implementation.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in ELA and social studies instruction (K–5 preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the science of reading and knowledge-building curriculum.
  • Experience in EdTech, curriculum publishing, and/or district-level instructional leadership.
  • Experience supporting or participating in sales cycles, pilots, or district adoption processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to make complex ideas clear, compelling, and actionable.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Curriculum, and Customer Success.
  • Familiarity with district procurement, RFPs, and adoption timelines.
  • Experience supporting early-stage or newly launched products.
