About the role
Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to help keep our office and small warehouse space running smoothly. This is a part-time contract role, ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and can manage their time independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Open, sort, and distribute mail.
- Deposit checks through our online banking system.
- Manage and assign tasks through our task management platform.
- Fulfill and ship orders for our marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Keep the office and small warehouse space clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with light administrative duties as needed (such as data entry, filing, or ordering supplies).
- Support special projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Availability
This role requires a commitment of 2–3 days per week for 2–3+ hours per day (5-15 hours per week).
Our ideal schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during standard business hours, though we can be flexible to accommodate the right candidate’s availability.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable balancing recurring weekly tasks with occasional one-off projects.
- Previous office, warehouse, or administrative experience preferred, but not required.

The base compensation range for this role is $25-30 per hour. This is an in-office position in Des Moines, IA.
Must be U.S. based.
