Since its founding in 2017 in Barcelona, Innovamat has partnered with 24,000 teachers from more than 2,800 schools in Spain, the United States, Mexico, Italy, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru, inspiring more than 600,000 students to build strong math foundations and instill a passion for learning.
About the Role and Why It’s Special ✨
As we continue to scale internationally, we are strengthening the strategic and organizational backbone of the company to support our next phase of growth. To do so, we are building out our Strategy Department, in which the Strategy Associate will play a critical role.
We are looking for a Strategy Associate based in Barcelona to work directly with our Ángela Pérez (our incoming Chief Strategy & Impact Officer), Andreu Dotti (CEO), and the rest of the leadership team on some of the most important decisions facing the company.
This is a role designed for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast and take on meaningful responsibility. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and decision-making across the company. The Strategy Associate will help bring analytical rigor, structure, and clarity to the company’s most important strategic priorities. At the same time, we expect you to be willing to roll up your sleeves and participate directly in operational initiatives (for example supporting a commercial campaign, market launch, or product rollout) to understand how the business works in practice.
This is a unique opportunity to be in a high-visibility, high-ownership role with exposure across the organization and direct collaboration with senior leadership!
People in similar roles at Innovamat have gone on to take on responsibilities far beyond their years of experience. We expect the scope of this role to grow quickly as the person in it develops. Our goal is that the person who takes this position will eventually lead major initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities 🏁
1. Governance & Leadership Support
Support the preparation and follow-up of Leadership Team, Extended Leadership, and Board meetings, ensuring alignment, accountability, and clear execution of decisions.
Prepare strategic briefings, memos, analyses, and presentations to support executive decision-making.
Help strengthen corporate governance processes and operating rhythms across the organization.
2. Internal Consulting & Strategic Analysis
Analyze data and build insights that help leadership make better decisions.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for exponential growth, including new international markets, new product or service verticals, strategic partnerships or M&A exploration and evaluation.
Build the metrics and dashboards that allow us to track performance.
3. Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
Drive strategic projects end to end from idea to execution, planning and coordinating stakeholders across the organization.
Collaborate with teams across markets to ensure alignment between global strategy and local execution.
Track key strategic initiatives across the organization and ensure follow-through on leadership priorities.
4. Culture & Organizational Effectiveness
Support the design and evolution of organizational structures, processes, and company operating rhythms.
Build systems that improve alignment, transparency, and strategic clarity.
Contribute to creating a high-performing and mission-driven organization as Innovamat continues to scale globally.

What can you expect from us? 🤗
Our culture and values defines who we are and how we work. We believe that how we do things matters just as much as what we do. We know this isn’t the right place for everyone —and that’s okay. Here’s what you can expect when joining our team:
We aim high: We set ambitious goals and work to high standards. We’re driven by the conviction that improving education is a game changer —and we’re here to take it on with determination and passion. Here, you’ll be able to grow as much as you want!
We are owners: From day one, you’ll take real responsibility and have real impact. We make thoughtful decisions, take initiative, and turn ideas into action —you’ll feel trusted to lead projects, make decisions, and watch your ideas come to life.
We move fast: We work in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment where speed and adaptability make the difference. Things move fast —and so do we. You’ll feel the pace, the energy, and the thrill of learning and acting quickly to make things happen.
We are eager to learn: Our team is made up of curious, motivated people who challenge themselves —and each other— to grow. We value those who approach every challenge as a learning opportunity and bring a positive, solution-oriented mindset, because here, every day is a chance to learn something new and share it with others.
We are humble: We’re guided by feedback and collaboration. We listen actively, learn from one another, and value ideas for their impact —not for who they come from. You’ll find teammates who boost you up, challenge you kindly, and celebrate wins as a team.
-
We enjoy the ride: Our impact depends on the people who make it possible. We’re an international, passionate team that thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where intensity and purpose go hand in hand. We take care of our people so they can take care of our mission —offering flexible working hours, time off during the Christmas break, and flexible compensation options. And of course, we make space to reconnect and recharge through team-building days that bring us closer and remind us why we do what we do.
If you think you are that person we are looking for we would love to meet you!
