Innovamat is an educational tool that promotes a competency-based, personalized, and practical way of learning mathematics. It is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 16 and prioritizes the understanding of content and the development of mathematical skills linked to problem-solving. Innovamat encourages learning through experimentation, conversation, and individualized practice. In this sense, Innovamat offers sequenced learning trajectories, resources, training, and contact with the educational community; experts in mathematics education, and the science behind mathematical learning.

Innovamat was founded in 2017 in Barcelona (Spain) and works with 18,000 teachers from more than 2,100 schools in Spain, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, and the US, who teach competency-based and meaningful mathematics to more than 430,000 students.

Your mission🎯

We are looking for a Growth person to play a vital role in our scale in the US, our most strategic market globally. You will lead the efforts to bring our program to school districts, from meeting generation to procurement. You will be working hand in hand with our Country Manager to define and execute our GTM strategy. You will also have to navigate certain early-stage market constraints and feel comfortable doing a lot in a small team. We are looking for someone passionate about scaling an organization, who doesn’t fear executing in this early stage. Fundamentally, we are looking for someone as excited as we are about driving this educational change!

Your day to day at Innovamat 🏁

  • Build a strong network of Administrators and Industry leaders in key regions.

  • Generate meaningful interactions with District Level Administrators through various channels (cold outreach, conferences, webinars, referrals…)

  • Leverage our Market Intelligence efforts to identify qualified prospects and generate discovery Meetings

  • Manage the Sales Process from A to Z to master it and be able to lead by example.

  • Contribute to the current GTM strategy with specific tactics, and assess the effectiveness of these.

  • Lead launch in new and unexplored States in the US, based on the overall US strategy

  • Support in the assessment and application of RFPs and State Adoptions, which could be differential for our future in the market.

What are we looking for? 🔍

  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in growing or scaling other startups, with a focus on GTM

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

  • Passion for scaling organizations

  • Belief in Innovamat’s educational mission

  • Eagerness to embrace Sales operational work and excel in the execution

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thinking outside the box and excited about the constant struggle of such early stage

  • Location: CDMX. Availability to travel from 3 to 6 months a year is a must.

It will be great if…

  • You have experience in Education

  • You have experience in Math or at least a strong background in

  • You have experience in going from 0 to 1 (in a product or market)

  • You bring an existing network with K-12 education to the table

  • You have been a teacher yourself, ideally at an elementary school.
