Innovamat is a K-12 educational startup focused on bringing the science of math learning and teaching to the classroom.

We have built a PreK-8 math curriculum to structurally change the way students learn, leaving the textbook and workbook behind.

Our curriculum allows students to develop all conceptual understanding through discussion and manipulation, while developing problem solving, reasoning and communication skills.

We have created an all-in-one product ecosystem, from manipulatives to a self-adaptive practice App, to allow them to change their role from lecturing to facilitating and to save teachers time on non-pedagogical tasks.

We are more than 320 Math Education enthusiasts. Together, we’ve been able to reach more than 2,100 schools in 9 countries with more than 430,000 students and 18,000 teachers falling in love with us.

Your mission🎯

We are looking for a talented person to play a vital role in our growth in the US, our most strategic market globally. You will lead the efforts to bring our program to school districts in your area, from meeting generation to procurement. You will be accountable for coming up with the right GTM tactics in your area and executing them successfully. You will also have to navigate certain early-stage market constraints and feel comfortable with doing a lot in a small team. You should love building relationships with admins, and be driven by creating long-term partnerships with school districts. We are looking for someone who understands and is as excited as we are about this educational change!

Your day to day at Innovamat 🏁

  • Build a strong network of Administrators in our target states & divisions.

  • Generate meaningful interactions with District Level Administrators through various channels (cold outreach, conferences, webinars, referrals…)

  • Contribute to the current GTM strategy with any tactics that are relevant in your area.

  • Identify qualified prospects and generate discovery Meetings

  • Conduct Product Demonstrations (hands-on and math-focused, not product features’ oriented).

  • Manage relationships with all Stakeholders throughout the Sales process.

  • Negotiate and close deals, all the way through to procurement.

What are we looking for? 🔍

  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in the curriculum space.

  • Know-how in creating meaningful relationships and generating opportunities with District Level Administrators, or equivalent.

  • Someone who knows how to speak and connect with teachers. Educator to educator messaging is fundamental.

  • Passionate about Math and Education.

  • A hands-on person who understands that our mission requires a lot of hustling.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thinking outside the box and excited about the constant struggle of such an early stage.

It will be great if…

  • You have experience in math specifically

  • You have experience in going from 0 to 1 (in a product or market)

  • You have experience working in a startup

  • You bring an existing network with K-12 education to the table

  • You have been a teacher yourself, ideally at an elementary school.

  • The gross salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
