About You
Dropback is a “front office” technology suite for elite college college sports programs. Top programs (Georgia, North Carolina…) and top GMs (like Adrian “Woj” Wojnarowski…) use Dropback to construct data-driven roster strategies and automate busy work: managing budgets, contracts, and payroll in one place. Featured in SBJ & Sports Illustrated, Dropback is a Y Combinator graduate (W24). Co-founders Luke & Nick are former Hudl & Microsoft engineers.

About You
- You love college sports (We’re huge Nebraska football fans — what’s your team?)
- You’ve been a founder, have worked at a very small startup, or dream about founding your own company one day
- You have full-stack experience building and deploying production-ready React web apps from scratch.
- Bias to action—taking ownership of projects from concept to production, while balancing high quality with speed
- Willing to travel a couple times for on-sites, conferences… maybe even a game 🎉
- Dropback is fully remote, so frequent visits keep us connected!
- Willingness to go deep with our tech stack:
- Monorepo (Turbo)
- Next.js (Typescript, Sass) deployed on Vercel
- PostgreSQL on Supabase
- Trigger.dev for background job scheduling
- Tinybird (wrapper of Clickhouse)
- Modern services: PostHog, Clerk, Loops, Documenso
- We’re generating revenue from the biggest brands in college sports, and growing fast
- This isn’t boring B2B SaaS! We’re building something fun and transformational in sports
- A fully-remote company, built by technical founders whose entire careers have been remote
- We’ll give you generous equity. We’re huge proponents of aligning incentives
