About Coral Care
Description
Behind every therapy session we deliver is an entire system of contracts, credentialing, billing, revenue cycle, and compliance that makes care possible. That’s where you come in.
As our Director of Payor and RCM Operations, you’ll be responsible for expanding our payor contract footprint, negotiating rates with existing payors, ensuring providers are credentialed quickly, and revenue cycle management flows without a hitch. You’ll also serve as the point person for compliance, maintaining the systems and documentation that protect both our families and our clinicians. You’ll work closely with our SVP of Marketplace and Operations, gaining exposure to the business operations landscape while making an immediate impact on our ability to serve families and expand into new geographies.
This is a W2, remote, and full-time position.
About Us:
Coral Care is transforming access to pediatric therapy by connecting families with trusted local clinicians who provide care in the home. We partner with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to deliver high-quality, in-person services while handling the administrative work that makes care possible — including credentialing, billing, payor contracting, and scheduling.
Our mission is to make it easier for families to get the support their children need and to create a sustainable path for clinicians to do the work they love. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in building the systems and operations that power this mission as we expand rapidly across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Payor Enrollment & Credentialing: Manage the credentialing process with our partners to maintain up-to-date provider credentials and ensure seamless enrollment in payor contracts.
- Payor Contracting: Submit new payor contract applications and oversee day to day operations working with existing payor contractors. This role will be the primary POC for working with payors, negotiating rates, resolving issues, building payor onboarding processes, and ensuring our RCM is set up to handle the nuances of new payors.
- Compliance Leadership: This role will ensure compliance across Coral Care’s operations; you will ensure our systems and processes are set up to comply with different payor contracting requirements and other compliance requirements working hand in hand with leadership across other organizations.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee revenue cycle processes and day-to-day functions to optimize financial performance. Analyze revenue metrics, claims denials, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Lead operational strategies and business plans. Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities in an evolving startup environment, including evaluating new vendors and streamlining existing operations.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years experience in operations with at least 5 years working in commercial payor contracting and revenue cycle operations
- Proficiency in CRM, data management and visualization tools (e.g., Hubspot, Excel, Google sheets, Airtable)
- Experience applying to and executing payor contracts, ideally with experience successfully negotiating higher reimbursement rates with quick contract turnaround times
- Experience running Revenue Cycle Management and building systems with industry leading claims acceptance rates
- Previous experience evaluating, onboarding, and managing external vendors/tools
- Excellent cross-team collaboration, management skills, and attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze complex revenue, business, and operational data
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in pediatric care or related fields
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an early stage or fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- SQL and advanced google sheets/excel skills
- At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports
