Job Description

Candidly is seeking a contract-to-hire Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our mission of helping every U.S. worker make simultaneous progress towards financial stability, wellness, and wealth. In this role, you will work directly with the Director of Customer Marketing and closely with the VP of Marketing. You’ll oversee the entire consumer communications lifecycle and be responsible for driving platform engagement to achieve transformative outcomes for our end-users.

The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and possesses a solid understanding of core multi-channel best practices to foster product adoption. As a fully remote team, we rely on constant collaboration to address the evolving needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the end-user marketing communications journey.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all employer launch communications to end-users.
  • Partner with product to integrate new marketing and transactional emails into the lifecycle journey.
  • Partner with the content marketing team to convert our key messages into comprehensive campaigns throughout the user lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage logic-based drip campaigns to boost activation, engagement, retention, and referrals.
  • Utilize data to craft effective event-based messaging aimed at increasing conversions at critical touchpoints in the funnel.
  • Analyze KPIs, including delivery rates, open rates, click rates, and down-funnel engagement at both campaign and account levels.
  • Lead initiatives to diversify communication channels, including SMS messaging.
  • Translate key insights into a best practice playbook for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct A/B testing on various funnel elements such as subject lines, templates, cadence, and timing.
  • Perform quality assurance on campaigns to ensure device compatibility and dynamic data integrity.
  • Collaborate with designers and front-end engineers to develop responsive and high-performing marketing templates.
  • Support marketing needs for our employers and partners in close alignment with the customer success team.
  • Develop client-facing campaigns, such as email newsletters.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, fully remote work environment.
  • Experience with Iterable and other marketing data activation platforms.

Contract Details

  • Duration: Initial contract period with potential for full-time hire based on performance and fit.
  • Location: Fully remote.
