About Us

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow. We believe students should have access to a world-class education without having to take on debt. We power online two-year degree programs featuring live, online, interactive classes led by faculty from top-ranking schools in the country (think Princeton, NYU, UCLA, Spelman, and more) all at community college costs. By making education more accessible and customized to each individual’s needs, we can achieve our mission of accelerating the talent of tomorrow, one student at a time.

We’re backed by an investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education — our investors include Sam Altman (OpenAI), Jason Citron (Discord), Peter Thiel (Founders Fund), Michael Bloomberg (Bloomberg Beta), Shaquille O’Neal, and others who support our vision for the future of education in America.

About the Team

The Data Operations team partners cross-functionally to design, scale, and optimize operational systems that support students across their lifecycle, from enrollment through graduation. Our work spans analytics, automation, and program management to ensure Campus operates efficiently, reliably, and with the student experience at the center.

About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager to own and drive medium-sized, cross-functional initiatives across Data Operations and partner teams. This role plays a critical part in turning strategy into execution and using data to continuously improve student outcomes, team effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own medium-sized, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from planning through delivery.

  • Drive timelines, dependencies, and execution to ensure high-quality outcomes, while measuring impact against defined success metrics.

  • Analyze operational, student, and people data to identify root causes, surface insights, and inform prioritization and interventions (e.g., retention, throughput, quality, efficiency).

  • Align Data, Product, Engineering, and Operations partners to move work forward.

  • Anticipate and resolve risks, blockers, and trade-offs through decisive action and escalation.

  • Evaluate how people, process, and tooling are working together — and recommend changes to improve performance, consistency, and scalability.

  • Improve and document operational workflows to increase speed and consistency.

  • Keep stakeholders aligned through clear, concise communication.

  • Reinforce a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution.

About you

You’ll fit right in if you have/are:

  • You have about 3 years of experience managing projects or programs in an operations, data, technology, or startup environment.

  • Experience working with data teams and foundational familiarity with SQL and Python, enabling you to effectively manage analysts and engage in technical discussions.

  • You have owned projects end-to-end and are comfortable being accountable for timelines, outcomes, and stakeholder alignment.

  • You are an excellent communicator, able to clearly synthesize information and adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • You are proactive and solutions-oriented, able to anticipate issues and drive resolution without waiting for direction.

  • You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can bring structure where none exists.

  • You are collaborative, direct, and comfortable navigating cross-functional dynamics.

  • You are motivated by impact and excited to contribute to improving access to education through strong operations.

What you’ll get:

  • A compensation package that includes a base salary ($105,000 – $125,000) + equity grant

    • Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary will be localized.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) match

  • Fertility benefits via Carrot

  • Flexible Time Away + paid holidays

  • In-office lunches for our NY Office (did we mention, we’re dog friendly? 🐶)

  • Hybrid work schedule (Mon & Fri remote; Tues-Thurs in-office)

  • Social events - happy hours, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, & more!

  • Opportunity to make an impact – you’ll be an integral player in bringing our vision to life
