About the Team
At Campus, Admissions is where the journey begins. We’re the first real conversation many students have about their future, and we don’t take that lightly. Our team plays a vital role in helping students explore whether Campus is the right fit - academically, professionally, and personally.
Admissions Counselors are trusted guides. We build real relationships, offer honest encouragement, and provide the structure students need to make confident, informed choices. Every conversation is rooted in care and clarity - because big decisions deserve both.
About the Role
As an Admissions Counselor, you’ll connect with prospective students daily - by phone, text, and email- to build trust, discover their goals, and guide them through the admissions process. You’ll help them understand what to expect, assess whether Campus is the right fit, and support them in taking the next step. You’ll need to listen with empathy, communicate with clarity, and follow up with persistence.
This is a performance-driven role grounded in connection. Many students come to these conversations feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, and your job is to meet them where they are, motivating them to move forward - if Campus is a good fit for their ambitions. If you love helping people and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, this role is for you.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build trust and rapport with prospective students through high-energy, student-centered conversations
Identify and troubleshoot common student challenges, whether it’s confusion about the process, readiness for college, or emotional stress
Conduct admissions interviews that uncover each student’s goals, motivations, and potential barriers
Guide and follow-up consistently with students through the application and enrollment process, including assistance in completing their application, steps for enrollments, and clear understanding of the Campus program, schedule, and expectations.
Use sound judgment to help students navigate ambiguity, objections, or frustration with clarity and care
Manage a personal pipeline, making 80+ calls daily, conducting interviews, and following up consistently via structured phone, text, and email
Manage your daily tasks, follow-ups, and notes with precision using Salesforce and structured outreach tools
Maintain clean, accurate documentation that supports seamless handoffs between Admissions, Financial Aid, and Onboarding
Thrive in ambiguity, pivot often, and stay motivated and persistent despite repeated rejection or student drop-off
We’re excited about you because you…
Are warm, confident, and engaging on the phone; you know how to connect with people quickly
Know how to listen closely, ask strong follow-up questions, and tailor your approach to meet people where they are
Are resilient. You bounce back from rejection and keep showing up with energy
Stay organized and structured even amid high outreach volume and shifting priorities—you manage your pipeline like a pro
Are coachable, can apply feedback fast, and always want to get better
Understand that this is a performance role; you're motivated by hitting goals and making a difference
Can thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
