Breathe For Change is a movement on a mission to enhance the health and well-being of educators, students, and entire communities. The organization was founded in 2015 by Dr. Ilana Nankin, whose dissertation research and teaching experience revealed the critical connection between teacher well-being and student learning, and the positive impact that wellness and social-emotional learning can have on teachers and students’ lives. Breathe For Change offers mind-body wellness, social-emotional learning, and yoga teacher trainings for educators, parents, and community leaders, and provides educator wellness and social-emotional learning professional development for schools, districts, and organizations. Since 2015, Breathe For Change has certified 4,000+ educators through the world’s only 200-hour wellness, SEL, and yoga teacher training, and has positively impacted the lives and well-being of 500,000+ students. In response to our changing world, Breathe For Change is more committed than ever to using wellness as a vehicle for healing and learning, and will continue to offer resources and professional development digitally to ensure all educators, families, and students have access to healing practices that foster individual and collective well-being.Something looks off?
