BetterLesson is seeking five classroom teachers to serve as AI Master Teachers for Fall 2025. In this role, you’ll document and share innovative strategies for using AI in the classroom. These strategies will be published in the BetterLesson Lab, used in workshops and coaching, and highlighted for educators across the country. This is an opportunity to shape how AI is applied in real classrooms and help other educators learn from your work.

Here are some things you can expect to accomplish in this role:

As an AI Master Teacher, you will:
  • Develop and document 5 AI strategies that you are currently using in your classroom, aligned to BetterLesson’s strategy template.
  • Contribute strategies in the following areas: (a) lesson planning/content creation, (b) assessment and feedback, (c) expanding student learning, (d) personalization and differentiation, and (e) classroom culture/ethical use.
  • Create accompanying resources (videos, artifacts, or tools) to demonstrate your strategies.
  • Participate in weekly check-ins with the project lead for support and milestone tracking.
  • Meet project milestones and submit strategies for inclusion in the BetterLesson Lab.

About You:

You are a classroom teacher who:
  • Is currently teaching in the U.S. (K–12) in one of the following grade bands: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–10, or 11–12.
  • Has implemented AI tools that are free (on a limited or permanent basis) in your classroom.
  • Has experience adapting instruction, assessment, or classroom culture through technology.
  • Is excited to share and reflect on your teaching practices with a national audience.
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet clear deadlines.
