- Assisting veterinary technicians and specialists with patient care and procedures
- Handling and restraining animals safely and effectively
- Preparing patients and treatment areas, assisting with laboratory testing and sample prep
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of surgical instruments, treatment, and patient areas
- Stocking supplies and supporting patient flow and client service
- Anticipating team needs to ensure smooth daily operations
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary hospital experience
- Strong animal restraint and handling skills
- Dependable, punctual, with consistent attendance
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a busy environment
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Approximately 2-3 daytime shifts per week, no weekends or holidays
- Hourly rate of $16–$20, depending on experience and skills
