Paramedic
We are seeking Paramedics dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include assessing emergency calls, utilizing advanced medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IV fluids, and providing critical care.
Communicating effectively with patients and their loved ones to offer reassurance is essential.
The role involves acting as a team leader, managing scenes and units, and driving ambulances during emergency responses.
Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel is vital.
Additional duties include participating in community outreach to enhance community relations.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility, a valid driver’s license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS is preferred. Candidates must have a compliant driving record, pass a physical agility test, and have some healthcare experience.
