Role Overview: The Certified Condition Report Writer inspects and documents vehicle conditions to identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting vehicles upon receipt, examining interior, exterior, engine, and mechanical components.
• Completing Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR), capturing digital photos, and entering data efficiently for online and in-lane sales.
• Communicating effectively with management and staff to ensure a smooth auction process.
• Adhering to auction procedures, policies, and safety guidelines.
• Performing related duties such as vehicle movement and starting vehicles as needed.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in the car auction industry.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of auction procedures and terminology.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a lot setting, including physical movement throughout the day.
