Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current New York State PT License
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred; new graduates with relevant fieldwork are encouraged to apply
- Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop rehabilitation plans
- Relieve pain through exercises, hands-on therapy, and stretching
- Assist residents with tasks and monitor progress
- Supervise physical therapy assistants
- Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with legal and professional standards
