Key Responsibilities
Seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to provide in-person psychotherapy to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities across multiple states. This clinical role offers a work-life balance with no administrative burdens, as billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications are handled by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in clinical settings.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patients' needs.
- Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulations using electronic health records (EHR).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Active, unrestricted LMFT license in the applicable state.
- Effective communication skills in English and proficiency with EHR technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to regulatory compliance.
- Ability to provide in-person services within facility settings.
- Physical ability to move within the facility as needed.
- Clinical experience in geriatric, subacute, or long-term care settings.
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Additional experience in psychology or addictions is a plus.
- Competitive salary range from $56,000 to $90,000, with sign-on bonuses available.
