The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key responsibilities include

  • Implementing evidence-based ABA therapy and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to promote positive behaviors and reduce maladaptive ones.
  • Supporting clients with communication, socialization, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborating with BCBAs, teachers, instructional assistants, and families to monitor progress and reinforce strategies.

Qualifications Include

  • Active RBT certification through BACB.
  • Experience in ABA techniques, behavior management, and data collection (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional requirements involve engaging physically with children, maintaining patience, and participating in ongoing training to uphold certification standards.
