Role Overview

Seeking a Rheumatologist to join a well-established practice in Central Texas, serving a large patient population with a referral-only system. The provider will manage a diverse caseload, including complex cases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, while collaborating with orthopedics for osteoarthritis cases. The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including an infusion service, bone density machine, and involvement in clinical trials and research. The physician will have opportunities to participate in research activities and teach at a nearby residency program.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of rheumatologic conditions.
• Manage incoming referrals, ensuring appropriate patient selection.
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching medical residents and students.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified or eligible in Rheumatology.
• Strong clinical skills with experience managing complex cases.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
• Interest in research and teaching is preferred.
