Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- State licensure (NC/SC) and CPR certification
- Preferably one year of experience
- Knowledge of home health and occupational therapy procedures, patient care equipment, manual therapy techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse groups
- Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs, transfer patients over 100 lbs, and perform mobility tasks
- Ability to apply clinical principles, prioritize duties, learn new skills, and use computer technology
- Clear vision and communication skills for clinical tasks
- Willingness to work in environments with potential hazards
- Valid driver’s license and operational vehicle required
- Administer occupational therapy treatments to patients of all ages
- Assist with program development and operational tasks
- Document and communicate patient information accurately
- Maintain effective work organization and schedules
- Uphold agency values and foster positive relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction and promote mission and vision
