Role Overview: The Family Worker/Assistant supports family engagement, enrollment, and retention in early childhood programs.

- Build trusting, culturally responsive relationships with families to promote active participation and positive outcomes.
- Conduct assessments, develop Family Partnership Agreements, and provide ongoing support and follow-up.
- Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and maintaining attendance records, including outreach and application support.
- Support families with referrals to community resources, health services, and special education processes.
- Promote health and wellness, ensuring medical documentation is up-to-date.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with staff, participate in team meetings, and support family engagement activities.
- Baccalaureate degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
- Bilingual ability preferred.
- Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
- Experience with developmental disabilities, community resources, or school systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to establish supportive relationships with families in need of services.
