Role: Provides professional nursing care within the Labor & Delivery specialty, ensuring adherence to state laws and hospital policies. Employs critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals.

Qualifications & Skills
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within six months of employment.
- Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months.
- Labor and delivery RN experience preferred.
