Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
Role & Responsibilities: Support clinical operations by performing patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers during procedures, performing phlebotomy, EKGs, administering immunizations, and collecting specimens. Contribute to care coordination through communication with healthcare teams, triaging messages, and relaying lab results. Handle administrative duties including scheduling, registration, verifying insurance, and front desk support. Participate in community outreach and team meetings to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual in English and Spanish, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent customer service, strong communication skills, teamwork ability, proficiency with Electronic Health Records, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred certifications include Medical Assistant certification, CPR, and Phlebotomy.
