Role Overview: The Medical Assistant 2 provides comprehensive patient care, administrative support, and clinical duties in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities: Includes taking vital signs, assisting with examinations and procedures, preparing patients, relaying instructions, managing medical records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Performs pre-visiting planning for vulnerable populations, handles clerical tasks such as documentation, lab reports, and requisitions, and maintains equipment and supplies.
Actively participates in clinic operations, quality improvement initiatives, and team huddles, contributing to patient safety and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of clinical experience, Basic Life Support certification, and Certified Medical Assistant credential upon hire.
