This role involves providing patient care and support within the Emergency Department, including performing STAT requests, discharging patients, transporting patients, and assisting with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities include utilizing the hospital's EMR system for order entry, updating patient information, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

The role requires performing EKGs, Venipuncture, POCT, and close patient observations as directed by nursing staff.

Additional duties include logging patient belongings, dressing patients, and managing vital signs and monitoring equipment.

Effective communication via phone and timely documentation are essential.

Qualifications Include

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand written instructions
  • CPR certification (to be obtained within probationary period)
  • Active PCA, EKG, and Phlebotomy certificates
  • Alternatively, UAP, CNA, EMT, or current enrollment in Nursing school with Fundamentals coursework
  • Bilingual skills preferred
