Role: Travel Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics.
Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based care, utilize manual therapy techniques, educate patients and families, document using EMR, collaborate with a rehabilitation team, and participate in community wellness initiatives.
Key Duties: Assist patients in regaining movement, reducing pain, and returning to activities, focusing on post-operative orthopedic cases, joint replacements, spine rehabilitation, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited program, Maryland PT licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification. Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy skills, and patient communication are essential.
Additional Information: The role involves working 36 hours weekly, with shifts typically from 10:30 AM to 7 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday. The position offers comprehensive benefits, travel reimbursement, housing allowance, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
