Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Additional certifications like NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU assigned therapists
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to operate and maintain respiratory equipment
- Comfort handling emergency situations
