Role: Operating Room - Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating departmental functions, managing a clinic unit, and acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to standards, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs by assigning tasks based on patient needs and staff competencies.
• Manage daily staffing, scheduling, and staff orientation, ensuring completion of competency checklists and staff development.
• Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate scheduling efforts and act as a liaison to maintain effective communication with providers, staff, and administration.
• Monitor and improve customer service, establishing mechanisms to track performance and address issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse license in the state, with CPR and applicable advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Minimum of two years relevant clinical nursing experience, with neonatal experience preferred for Level II EQ.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, decision-making skills, and ability to manage change and departmental budgets.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Advanced fetal monitoring certification or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Preferred: BSN, management experience, and specialty certifications.
