Role: The CVU - Cardiovascular Unit Charge Nurse (RN) is responsible for leading and coordinating patient care on a designated shift within the cardiovascular unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing activities, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Assess patient data to anticipate and mitigate changes in condition and facilitate appropriate consults.
• Promote evidence-based practices through scientific inquiry, participate in practice improvements, and support nursing advancement.
• Evaluate patient and family experiences, aiming to enhance satisfaction and care quality.
• Maintain safety standards, working in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Serve as a clinical resource, providing guidance to nursing staff.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active RN license; Nursing Diploma/Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; critical care experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is not required.
• Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and collaboration skills.
