We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled patient care on a high-acuity digestive surgical unit.

Responsibilities include administering medications, hanging IV fluids, dressing changes, trach care, ostomy management, NG tube care, and patient education. The LPN will support RNs by assisting with assessments, documentation, care plans, and communication with physicians.

Ideal candidates will have a current LPN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least one year of LPN experience.

The role involves working with patients with complex surgical needs, including trauma, bariatric, and other digestive surgeries, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6 for general patients and 1:3 for advanced care.

Key skills include proficiency with wound vacs, IVs, drains, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitoring. The unit values teamwork, critical thinking, and patient safety, supported by resources such as educators and supervisors.

Compensation ranges from $25.73 to $41.87 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.
